AutoFit Privacy Policy
HANSEON LABS (Owner: Hanseon Oh, “we”) respects the privacy of people who use AutoFit Routine (com.motionroutine.app). This Policy explains what the app processes on your device and when an outside provider may process information off device.
Key points
- Workout routines and logs, body weight, InBody and recovery entries, your profile, and photos are stored on your device by default.
- There is no AutoFit account, AutoFit server storage, or AutoFit cloud sync.
- The stores and RevenueCat process an anonymous app user ID, purchase history, and related information for subscriptions.
- GitHub Pages may process standard connection data, such as an IP address, when AutoFit checks for updates or you open a legal document.
- AI reports, backups, and shares leave the app only when you initiate the action.
- AutoFit has no advertising SDK, personalized ads, cross-app tracking, or sale of personal data.

2. Information processed on your device
The following information is processed inside the operating system’s app storage to provide AutoFit features. Unless you initiate an export or share, workout, health, and photo data is not transmitted to AutoFit servers.
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Optional profile | Age, sex, height, body weight, and activity level for unit conversion and in-app calculations and displays |
| Workout routines and logs | Exercise names, sets, weight, reps, time, notes, progress, and statistics |
| Body weight, InBody, and recovery entries | Trends, body composition, and recovery status by body part |
| Progress/workout photos and thumbnails | Workout history, time-lapse playback, and before/after comparison |
| Custom exercises and favorites | Customized exercise lists and routine building |
| App settings | Language, units, notifications, voice, vibration, timers, and tutorial state |
| Legal-document record | Agreement status, document version, and timestamp stored on device so revised documents can be presented again |
| Pro status cache | Pro active status and expiry date returned by RevenueCat for offline display |
AutoFit keeps up to 500 InBody entries for performance. The photo limit is 300 on Free and 3,000 on Pro; limits may change in later app versions.
3. Information you import or export
3.1 Backup ZIP
Data Export creates a ZIP containing routine, workout, body weight, InBody, recovery, profile and settings records, together with photo files. A backup may not be encrypted and is passed to the sharing app or location you choose. Access, retention, onward sharing, and deletion outside AutoFit are controlled by you and the selected provider.
3.2 AI reports and clipboard
AutoFit does not directly integrate an AI service. When you choose Copy or Share as File, a Markdown report that may contain routines, workout records, and selected profile data is placed on the clipboard or sharing sheet. If you paste it into ChatGPT or another AI service, that service processes the content under its own policy. Review the report for sensitive details before sending it. AutoFit reads clipboard text only after you tap the import button, then parses a routine format on device.
3.3 Documents, photos, and sharing
AutoFit processes only files you choose through the photo picker, camera, or document picker. The operating-system sharing sheet and the destination app’s terms apply when you export a report or backup.
4. Information that may be processed off device automatically
| Provider | When and what it may process | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play / Apple App Store | At purchase, subscription, or restore: purchase history, receipt or purchase token, order/transaction ID, subscription status, and store account/environment information | Billing, subscription management, restoration, refunds, tax, and fraud prevention |
| RevenueCat, Inc. | After you accept the current legal documents, on app launch, purchase, or restore: anonymous app user ID; product, subscription and receipt information; app version; device type and OS; locale and currency; last-seen time; and related technical/transaction data | Product information, Pro entitlement verification/restoration, subscription analytics, and fraud prevention |
| GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages) | When AutoFit checks the update configuration or you open a legal link: IP address, request time, and standard browser/app, device, and network request logs | Update notices, legal-page hosting, security, and service operations |
AutoFit does not set RevenueCat customer attributes such as your name, email, or phone number, and disables automatic advertising-identifier collection. AutoFit does not send workout or health records, photos, backups, or AI reports to RevenueCat.
5. Permissions and device features
| Permission or feature | How it is used |
|---|---|
| Camera | Take a progress or workout photo after you choose the feature; permission is requested at that time |
| Photo picker | Import only photos you select; broad media-read permissions are blocked on Android |
| Notifications | Schedule and display on-device workout/rest timer and upcoming Pro-expiry reminders |
| Audio, vibration, and wake behavior | Voice prompts, sound cues, haptics, and workout timer continuity |
| Document picker and sharing sheet | Import selected backup/CSV files and export backups/reports |
| Clipboard | Write a report or read an AI response only after you tap the relevant Copy/Import action |
| Internet | Subscriptions and product lookup, purchase restoration, update checks, and legal links |
AutoFit does not use microphone, precise location, contacts, calendar, SMS/call log, installed-app list, HealthKit, Google Fit, or Health Connect permissions.
6. Advertising, tracking, and prohibited uses
Neither Free nor Pro includes a third-party advertising SDK. AutoFit does not sell personal, health, or fitness data or use it for personalized ads, cross-context behavioral advertising, insurance, employment, credit, or lending decisions. We do not share workout/health records or photos with data brokers or advertising providers.
7. Retention and deletion
- On-device content: Kept until you delete an item, use Reset All Data, clear app storage, or uninstall AutoFit.
- Reset All Data: Removes routines, logs, body weight, InBody, recovery, custom exercises, photos, and profile values. It retains language, units, notifications, voice, timer settings, the legal-document record, and the Pro status cache.
- Complete local deletion: Clearing app data/storage in operating-system settings or uninstalling AutoFit removes the retained local settings as well.
- Backups, reports, and clipboard: Delete copies from the destination file location, clipboard, or third-party app yourself.
- Subscription/transaction data: The stores and RevenueCat retain it under their policies and applicable law. On request, we can assist with deletion of an identifiable RevenueCat customer where available, but store records required by law and an active subscription may remain separately managed.
- Support email: We may retain a resolved inquiry for up to three years for dispute handling, unless you request earlier deletion and no legal retention duty applies.
See the Data Deletion Guide for steps. Uninstalling AutoFit does not cancel a paid subscription.
8. Processors and international processing
Workout/health records and photos are not transferred to the providers below. Only payment, subscription, update, and connection information may be processed internationally over encrypted HTTPS.
| Recipient / country | Items, timing, and method | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC, Apple Inc. / United States and other operating countries | At purchase/restore: purchase history, receipt/token, order/transaction ID, subscription and store data / HTTPS | Billing, subscription, refund, restoration, tax, and fraud controls | As required by provider policy and applicable law |
| RevenueCat, Inc. / United States | On app launch, purchase, or restore: anonymous app user ID and transaction, subscription, product, and technical environment data / HTTPS | Product delivery, subscription verification/restoration, and subscription analytics | As needed to provide the service, meet legal duties, and under RevenueCat policy |
| GitHub, Inc. / United States and other locations | At update checks or legal-page visits: IP address and request logs / HTTPS | Static-file delivery, security, and incident response | As required by GitHub policy and security operations |
The subscription and update processing above is required to provide AutoFit 1.5.2 and restore Pro entitlement. If you do not agree, you may decline the current legal documents and stop using the app; asking to delete or restrict subscription-related information may limit Pro verification and restoration. Provider details are available from Google, Apple, RevenueCat, and GitHub.
9. Security measures
- User content is stored in the operating system app sandbox.
- Android app-data backup is disabled with
android:allowBackup="false". - Connections to outside providers use HTTPS.
- AutoFit disables automatic advertising-identifier collection and includes no advertising SDK.
- Imported ZIP size, entry count, and paths are validated, but you remain responsible for protecting an exported backup.
10. Your rights and choices
You can view, correct, delete, and export records in the app. Revoke device permissions in operating-system settings. Email us about RevenueCat data, support records, or privacy rights. We may ask for the platform, approximate purchase date, and an order/transaction ID to verify a request, but we will not ask for a card number or password.
